The Lane (5-6) took down the Linn-Benton 15-0 on Wednesday at LBCC Baseball Field after slamming the Linn-Benton (1-8) with nine runs in the first inning.

The Lane scored in the first on a hit by pitch, an error, an error, an error, an RBI double by Jordan Hadley, an RBI single by Forrest Garcia, an error, an error, and an error.

Garcia reached base three times in the game for the Lane. He scored four runs and had one RBI.

The Linn-Benton's lineup had no answer for Tannar Galey. The Linn-Benton managed just two hits off of Galey, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Patrick Figueroa recorded his first win of the year for the Lane. Figueroa struck out three, walked three and gave up one hit.

Ryan Barbarin (0-1) took the loss for the Linn-Benton. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
