Early lead not enough for the Treasure Valley, drop 6-3 decision to the Blue Mountain

The Treasure Valley (28-12) built an early edge on Wednesday, but the Blue Mountain (13-24) roared back to steal a 6-3 victory at Pendleton, OR.

An error gave the Blue Mountain the lead in the eighth inning.

Alex Storaci racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Blue Mountain. He singled in the sixth inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

Jonathan Boyer baffled the Treasure Valley, striking out six batters. Boyer allowed three earned runs, seven hits and one walk over seven innings.

Tyson Wicklander recorded his first win of the year for the Blue Mountain. Wicklander struck out none, walked one and gave up two hits.

Tony McCardy ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
