An ace performance by Kyle Blankenship spurred the Wenatchee Valley (7-4) to a 4-1 win over the Blue Mountain (8-9) on Wednesday at Wenatchee Valley .

Blankenship picked up the win for the Wenatchee Valley. Blankenship allowed no earned runs, six hits and one walk while striking out six over nine innings of work.

Erik Sauve racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Wenatchee Valley. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Brandon Cederholm pitched lights out for the Blue Mountain. The Wenatchee Valley managed just three hits off of the the Blue Mountain's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his 3 1/3 innings of work.

Kyler Knieriem couldn't get it done on the bump for the Blue Mountain, taking a loss. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked five, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
