Eric Purcell held the Shoreline (8-7) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Blue Mountain (7-8) to a 6-0 victory.

Purcell allowed four hits, two walks and struck out seven.

Five runs in the first three innings helped the Blue Mountain blow out the Shoreline. An RBI double by Jordan Ackerman and a groundout by Tyson Wicklander during the first inning supplied the early offense for the Blue Mountain.

Alex Storaci had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits. He doubled in the first and third innings and tripled in the fourth inning.

Myles Gouviea couldn't get it done on the bump for the Shoreline, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
