An impressive two-way performance from Daulton Blackwell led the Treasure Valley (26-11) to a 7-1 win Wednesday over the Walla Walla, as Blackwell came up huge at the dish and on the mound.
Blackwell racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Treasure Valley. He doubled in the fifth inning and homered in the eighth inning.
The Treasure Valley relied on Blackwell to eat up innings en route to the win. Blackwell allowed one earned run, three hits and three walks while striking out one over seven innings of work.
The Treasure Valley blew out the Walla Walla (21-13) thanks to 12 hits, including zero extra base hits.
