An ace performance by Griffin Davis carried the Walla Walla (17-9) to a 7-0 win over the Big Bend on Wednesday at Warrior Field .
Davis held the Big Bend (9-14) scoreless for eight innings. Davis struck out five and allowed one walk and two hits.
The biggest inning for the Walla Walla was the first. In the inning the Walla Walla scored four runs. The Walla Walla scored in the first on an error, a two-run double by Dylan Wilbert, and an RBI single by Chandler Whitney.
Kaleb Whitlock was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out none.
