The Olympic (11-20) beat the Linfield JV 5-1 in seven innings on Saturday at RAC (Lacey) behind Colten Miller, who went 1-2 and hit a home run.

The Olympic relied on Ethan Syverson to eat up innings en route to the win. Syverson allowed one earned run, five hits and no walks while striking out one over six innings of work.

Matt Richards ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
