An ace performance by Kameron Miner led the Edmonds (20-6) to an 8-0 win in seven innings over the Olympic (8-20) on Monday at RAC (Lacey).
The Edmonds blew out the Olympic thanks to six hits, including zero extra base hits. The Edmonds scored four runs in the sixth on the Edmonds scored in the sixth on a single by Jamie Umbinetti, a double by Steven Weber, an error, and a two-run single by Spencer Greene.
David Garza was hot from the plate for the Edmonds. Garza went 1-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the fifth inning.
Miner recorded his second win of the year for the Edmonds. Miner struck out four, walked one and gave up no hits.
Connor Harkness (0-2) took the loss for the Olympic. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
