The Lower Columbia outlast the Pierce in high-scoring affair, 11-9

Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Saturday as the Lower Columbia (33-8) outscored the Pierce (17-21) 11-9 in eight innings.

The teams totaled 17 hits in the game.

Lorin Archibald racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Lower Columbia. He singled in the sixth inning.

Kade Kryzsko handled the Pierce's lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. Kryzsko allowed one earned run, four hits and no walks over six innings.

Gunnar Schubert racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Pierce. He singled in the first innings and doubled in the seventh innings.

Ryan Peart got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He allowed three runs over one inning. Peart struck out one, walked one and gave up two hits.

Caleb Wallen (2-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
