The Lower Columbia (30-8) beat the Pierce (17-18) 6-4 but needed 10 innings to do so on Saturday at Mt Tahoma High School .

With the score tied at four, Michael Forgoine came to the plate and singled, scoring Ryan Littlefield and Chris Rogers.

Forgoine racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Lower Columbia. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the tenth innings.

Christian Parsons pitched lights out for the Lower Columbia. Parsons held the Pierce hitless over five innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out seven.

Kyler Phelps was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
