An awesome effort by Kade Kryzsko hoisted the Lower Columbia (23-8) to an 8-0 win in seven innings over the Green River (7-21) on Saturday at David Story Field.

Kryzsko held the Green River scoreless during his seven innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on four hits while striking out eight.

The Lower Columbia blew out the Green River thanks to six hits, including zero extra base hits. The Lower Columbia scored four runs in the sixth on the Lower Columbia scored in the sixth on an RBI single by Garrett Myers, a single by Myers, an RBI single by Lorin Archibald, , a fielder's choice, and a single by Chris Rogers.

Ryan Littlefield reached base three times in the game for the Lower Columbia. He scored two runs and had one RBI.

Takahiro Tsujimura (0-1) took the loss for the Green River. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
