The Lower Columbia outdone by Moore and the Edmonds, 6-5

Jesse Moore went 1-4 and hit a home run, sparking the Edmonds (13-4) to a 6-5 victory in eight innings over the Lower Columbia (11-7) on Saturday at David Story Field.

He homered in the eighth inning.

The Lower Columbia had no answer for Riley Storedahl, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Lower Columbia managed just two hits off of Storedahl, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his six innings of work.

Chris Rogers racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Lower Columbia. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Brian Way recorded his second win of the year for the Edmonds. He allowed three runs over two innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered four hits.

Christian Parsons was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
