Derik Bontempo had two extra base hits, sparking the Tacoma (19-8) to a 6-3 victory in seven innings over the Centralia (3-18) on Saturday at Minnitti Field .

Tom Simpson racked up seven strikeouts in the the Tacoma win. Simpson allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk over five innings.

The Centralia were led by Colton Hinricksen's hitting. Hinricksen went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.

Ty Carlton was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out seven, and allowed four runs.
