Jared Frew had two extra base hits, helping the British Columbia (3-2) to a 6-5 victory over the Nova Scotia (2-3) on Sunday at Mainland Commons.

Brett McGinnis put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Nova Scotia. He homered in the third inning, doubled in the fifth inning, and singled in the seventh inning.

Zach Burlon recorded his first win for the British Columbia even though he allowed five runs over seven innings. He struck out seven, walked two and surrendered nine hits.

David Pilot couldn't get it done on the bump for the Nova Scotia, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed three runs.

The British Columbia were sparked by Mitchell Jackman and Frew, who teamed up for five hits and four RBIs.
