Duchesneau leads the Qu��bec to 10-2 win over the Saskatchewan

An outstanding effort by Jerome Duchesneau led the Qu��bec (3-1) to a 10-2 win in seven innings over the Saskatchewan (1-3) on Sunday at Beazley.

Duchesneau rocked the Saskatchewan with two home runs. Duchesneau went 2-4 in the game with four RBIs and three runs scored. Duchesneau homered in the third and sixth innings.

The biggest inning for the Qu��bec was the sixth. In the inning the Qu��bec scored seven runs. The Qu��bec scored in the sixth on an RBI single by William Robitaille, a three-run home run by Duchesneau, an RBI double by Philippe Craig-St-Louis, a two-run single by Miguel Comtois, and an error.

The Qu��bec relied on Frederick Fauteux to eat up innings en route to the win. Fauteux pitched six innings and allowed two earned runs, six hits and no walks while striking out four.

Jordan Dezotell had two extra-base hits for the Saskatchewan. He doubled in the first inning and homered in the third inning.

Mathew Ring (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed nine runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out none.
