Andreas Brackett had two extra base hits, helping the Westcott (4-1) to a 9-6 victory over the RR Construction (1-1) on Wednesday at Cardines Field.

The RR Construction had no answer for Dylan Pignatore, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Pignatore held the RR Construction hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out three.

Matt Laferriere improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Westcott. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Laferriere struck out 10, walked three and gave up seven hits.

Marwing Pena (0-1) took the loss for the RR Construction. He allowed seven runs in three innings, walked two and struck out one.

The Westcott's Brackett, Anthony Pagano and Ryan Wordell combined for five hits and six RBIs.
