Devon Mahoney collected three hits, sparking the Rockville Express (2-1) to a 7-2 victory over the Alexandria Aces (1-2) on Wednesday at Montgomery College.

Daniel Gurganus picked up the win for the Rockville Express. Gurganus allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Andrew Witczak (0-1) took the loss for the Alexandria Aces. He allowed seven runs in eight innings, walked three and struck out three.
