Troy Dixon had three RBIs, helping the San Francisco Seagulls (17-21) to an 8-4 victory over the Nevada Big Horns (8-32) on Friday at McQueen HS.

Jordan Simon got on base three times in the game for the Nevada Big Horns. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the third and eighth innings.

John Tierney recorded his third win of the year for the San Francisco Seagulls. He allowed four runs over 6 2/3 innings. He struck out three, walked three and surrendered six hits.

Robert Ortega ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in seven innings, walked one and struck out one.
