The Baltimore Redbirds (24-10) and the Herndon Braves (16-17) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Baltimore Redbirds that eventually took advantage of them in a 7-6 win at Calvert Hall HS.

Nick Cieri racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Baltimore Redbirds. He singled in the first inning.

Brett Padula had a hot bat for the Herndon Braves. Padula went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the third, fourth, and sixth innings.

Carson Bryant got the win, running his season record to 3-2. He allowed three runs over 2 2/3 innings. Bryant struck out none, walked two and gave up five hits.

Sam Bjorngeld was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked three and struck out one.
