Jake Taylor both hit and pitched well for the SS-T T Bolts (12-24), but it wasn't enough as the SS-T T Bolts fell to the Youses Orioles (14-20) 4-1 at Blair Stadium on Tuesday.

It was a good day at the plate for the SS-T T Bolts' Taylor. Taylor went 2-4 and drove in one. He singled in the sixth innings.

The Youses Orioles had no answer for Taylor, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Taylor held the Youses Orioles hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Garrett Venner had a hot bat for the Youses Orioles. Venner went 3-4 and scored one run. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the second and sixth innings.

McDonald picked up the win for the Youses Orioles. McDonald pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks while striking out five.

Greg Jakusik (2-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
