The Saskatchewan cruise past the Nova Scotia, 12-4

The Nova Scotia (2-2) didn't have a chance on Friday, as the Saskatchewan (3-1) won in blowout fashion, 12-4 in seven innings at BBoys Vaughan Grove one.

A three-run single by Evan Thomas and a double by Brody Vogel helped the Saskatchewan score four runs in the seventh. The Saskatchewan had three hits in the inning.

Thomas racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Saskatchewan.

Jordan Frey pitched lights out for the Saskatchewan. The Nova Scotia managed just three hits off of the the Saskatchewan's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his four innings of work.

Peter Driscoll paced the Nova Scotia at the plate. Driscoll went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third inning.

Vogel got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed four runs over three innings. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Caleb Medicraft (0-1) took the loss for the Nova Scotia. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked two and struck out three.
