The Nova Scotia uses big sixth inning to beat the Prince Edward Island, 13-3

The Nova Scotia (2-1) blew out the Prince Edward Island (1-2) 13-3 on Friday at BBoys Vaughan Grove two after pouring on seven runs in the sixth inning.

The Nova Scotia scored in the sixth on an RBI single by Zack Zinck, an RBI single by Zinck, an RBI single by Jaden Griffin, a hit by pitch, a passed ball, a wild pitch, and a two-run single by Peter Driscoll.

Jarrett Dinn went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Nova Scotia. He singled in the second and fourth innings.

Ryan OToole brought the heat against the Prince Edward Island during his outing. OToole gave up just two hits, allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out five during his three innings of work.

The Prince Edward Island were led by a flawless day at the dish by Kallum Muirhead, who went 3-3 against the Nova Scotia's pitching. He tripled in the fourth innings and singled in the second and sixth innings.

Garett Nicholson got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed two runs over three innings. He struck out four, walked none and surrendered four hits.

Hunter McQuaid couldn't get it done on the hill for the Prince Edward Island, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
