The San Francisco Seagulls outdone by Wildes and the West Coast Kings, 4-3

Willy Wildes went 1-3, sparking the West Coast Kings to a 4-3 victory over the San Francisco Seagulls (9-13) on Monday at College Park High School.

He doubled in the second inning.

Eric Peterson had an impressive outing against the San Francisco Seagulls' lineup. The San Francisco Seagulls managed just three hits off of the the West Coast Kings' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his five innings of work.

Preston Tarter was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the West Coast Kings batters and allowing one run.

Paul Murray did his best to jumpstart the offense for the San Francisco Seagulls, reaching base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the first inning.

Mitch Forgey got the win for the West Coast Kings. He tossed two innings of shutout ball. Forgey struck out two, walked none and gave up no hits.

Robert Roman couldn't get it done on the mound for the San Francisco Seagulls, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
