Kalaika Kahoohalahala had two extra base hits as the Rockford Aviators (18-18) took home a 6-4 victory over the Windy City ThunderBolts (14-23) at Standard Bank Stadium on Sunday.
He singled in the first innings, doubled in the fifth inning, and homered in the seventh inning.Cole Green racked up seven strikeouts in the the Rockford Aviators win. Green allowed two earned runs, three hits and five walks over six innings.
Andrew Brauer was hot from the plate for the Windy City ThunderBolts. Brauer went 2-3 and scored one run. He singled in the sixth and eighth innings.
Jake Fisher ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his sixth loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
