Kyle Brueggemann held the Lake Erie Crushers (17-17) scoreless for six innings to boost the Rockford Aviators (16-16) to a 3-0 victory.

Brueggemann allowed four hits, no walks and struck out one.

It was a good day at the plate for the Rockford Aviators' Danny Gonzalez. Gonzalez went 2-2 and scored one run. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Zac Treece ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out five, and allowed one run.
