Brandon Benson collected four hits as the Rockville Express (24-16) took home a 6-4 victory over the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts (13-27) at Blair Stadium on Tuesday.
He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the second, third, and seventh innings.Brodie Leftridge was solid at the plate for the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts. Leftridge went 1-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the second inning.
Rhyan Karr got the win, running his season record to 3-2. He allowed three runs over six innings. Karr struck out three, walked three and gave up four hits.
Robert Galligan ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
