An exceptional effort by Tres Tyler lifted the Melville Millionaires (7-8) to a 10-1 win over the Weyburn Beavers on Monday at Pirie Field.

Tyler held the Weyburn Beavers (5-8) scoreless for eight innings. Tyler struck out five and allowed one walk and three hits.

The Melville Millionaires blew out the Weyburn Beavers thanks to 13 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Melville Millionaires scored four runs in the eighth on the Melville Millionaires scored in the eighth on an error, an RBI double by Tanner Houston, and a two-run single by Jake Collins.

Logan Terwilliger racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Melville Millionaires. He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Riley Schaaf (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
