Rob Smith Jr. went 3-3 at the plate, helping the Top Speed Baseball (4-0) to a 4-1 victory over the Conejo Oaks on Saturday at Cal Lutheran.
He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the third and eighth innings.David Steele picked up the win for the Top Speed Baseball. Steele pitched 6 2/3 innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and four walks while striking out five.
Hunter Castaneda (0-1) took the loss for the Conejo Oaks. He lasted just nine innings, walked six, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
