Ian Strom reached base three times in the game for the Worcester Bravehearts. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the first inning and homered in the eighth inning.

The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs had no answer for Sam Ross, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Ross gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out four during his five innings of work.

A bright spot for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs in the defeat was Ben White, who allowed only zero runs while striking out six.

Miles Sheehan recorded his first win of the year for the Worcester Bravehearts. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Ryan Venditti (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
