Manuel De Jesus went 2-3, helping the Terre Haute Rex (12-8) to a 6-3 victory over the Hannibal Cavemen (10-9) on Friday at Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stad.

It was a good day at the plate for the Hannibal Cavemen's Brandon Bentson. Bentson went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.

Brad Lombard improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Terre Haute Rex. Lombard struck out none, walked one and gave up one hit.

Dylan Terrell (2-2) took the loss for the Hannibal Cavemen. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
