Andrew Clow went 2-2, helping the Gaithersburg Giants (20-17) to a 5-2 victory over the Baltimore Redbirds (25-14) on Friday at Criswell Automotive Field.

The Baltimore Redbirds' Mac Caples was perfect at the dish, going 2-2. He singled in the second and fourth innings.

Nick Grant had an impressive outing against the Gaithersburg Giants' lineup. Grant held the Gaithersburg Giants hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two.

Robbie Metz improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Gaithersburg Giants. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out one, walked three and surrendered eight hits.

Evan Anderson (1-1) took the loss for the Baltimore Redbirds. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
