Cody Brown got on base three times in the game for the Bethesda Big Train. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the ninth inning.
Jake Valdez kept contact to a minimum, striking out six the SS-T T Bolts batters. Valdez allowed one earned run on six hits and two walks over six innings.
A bright spot for the SS-T T Bolts in the defeat was Garrett Pearson, who allowed only two runs while striking out five.
Pearson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year.
