The Baltimore Dodgers outlast the Herndon Braves in high-scoring affair, 11-8

Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the Baltimore Dodgers (13-25) outscored the Herndon Braves (17-21) 11-8.

The two teams combined for 21 hits in the game.

Reggie Rogers racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Baltimore Dodgers. He singled in the ninth inning.

Elijah Ginsburg had an impressive outing against the Herndon Braves' lineup. The Herndon Braves managed just two hits off of the the Baltimore Dodgers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his five innings of work.

Nick Morabito racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Herndon Braves. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the third and sixth innings.

Nick Morton improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Baltimore Dodgers. Morton struck out none, walked one and gave up no hits.

John Yoest (0-4) took the loss for the Herndon Braves. He allowed six runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out three.

The Baltimore Dodgers easily handled the Herndon Braves pitching as six hitters combined for 13 hits, six RBIs and eight runs scored.
