Nick Morabito had two extra base hits, helping the Herndon Braves (12-14) to a 7-4 victory over the Youses Orioles (12-16) on Saturday at Herndon High School.

Chris Bzozowski was hot from the plate for the Youses Orioles. Bzozowski went 3-5 and scored one run. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the first and ninth innings.

McDonald baffled the Herndon Braves, striking out eight batters. McDonald allowed three earned runs, seven hits and one walk over seven innings.

Michael Schwartz improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Herndon Braves. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered two hits.

The Herndon Braves were sparked by Jean Rodriguez and Morabito, who teamed up for five hits and three RBIs.

McDonald couldn't get it done on the bump for the Youses Orioles, taking a loss.
