An eight-run explosion in the fourth inning lifted the Bethesda Big Train (24-6) to a 13-6 win over the Rockville Express at Shirley Povich Field on Saturday.

The Bethesda Big Train scored in the fourth on a fielder's choice, , a wild pitch, , and a home run by Brandon Lowe.

Lowe racked up six RBIs on two hits for the Bethesda Big Train.

Tim Yandel got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed two runs over three innings. Yandel struck out one, walked none and gave up four hits.

Sadiq Burkholder (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out two.
