Chris Lewis drove in three runs as the Bethesda Big Train (20-4) took home an 8-6 victory over the D.C. Grays (9-17) at Shirley Povich Field on Sunday.
He homered in the third inning and singled in the sixth inning.The D.C. Grays had no answer for Jacob Billingsley, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Billingsley held the D.C. Grays hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.
Desmond Stegall racked up three RBIs on two hits for the D.C. Grays. He homered in the third inning and tripled in the eighth inning.
Tayler Stiles got the win, running his season record to 4-0. He allowed two runs over five innings. Stiles struck out four, walked three and gave up four hits.
Colin Kelly (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked one and struck out two.
