The Herndon Braves (10-12) came out firing, but couldn't hang on to the lead, ending up on the losing side of a 4-3 ballgame against the SS-T T Bolts (9-14) on Sunday at Blair Stadium.

An RBI double by Tyler Coleman gave the SS-T T Bolts the lead in the seventh inning.

Clay Keranen had two extra-base hits for the SS-T T Bolts. He doubled in the third and seventh innings.

The Herndon Braves' lineup had no answer for Garrett Pearson. Pearson gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his two innings of work.

Alan Mocabee racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Herndon Braves. He homered in the first inning.

Greg Jakusik improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the SS-T T Bolts. He allowed three runs over seven innings. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered eight hits.

John Yoest couldn't get it done on the mound for the Herndon Braves, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
