Webb Bobo went 2-3, sparking the D.C. Grays (8-11) to a 3-2 victory over the Rockville Express (11-8) on Friday at Washington Nationals Academy.
He singled in the sixth inning and doubled in the ninth inning.Ari Kaufman had an impressive outing against the Rockville Express' lineup. Kaufman held the Rockville Express hitless over four innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.
Despite the loss, the Rockville Express' Mike Bittel dominated the D.C. Grays' batters, giving up three runs and striking out eight.
Bittel ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year.
