Ky Parrott went 4-4 at the plate, sparking the Herndon Braves (7-9) to a 6-1 victory over the Baltimore Dodgers (3-15) on Friday at Joe Cannon Stadium.
He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the first, seventh, and ninth innings.Matt Moser put together a nice outing. The Baltimore Dodgers managed just two hits off of the the Herndon Braves' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out four during his six innings of work.
Despite the loss, the Baltimore Dodgers' Ross Lazicky dominated the Herndon Braves' batters, giving up one run and striking out five.
Robert Covarrubias (0-2) took the loss for the Baltimore Dodgers. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
