The Baltimore Redbirds (11-6) needed 10 innings on Thursday to take down the Youses Orioles (6-11) 4-3 at Calvert Hall HS.

With the Baltimore Redbirds trailing by one, Tyler Ramirez came to the plate and singled, bringing home Matt Tilley.

Gavin Sheets reached base three times in the game for the Baltimore Redbirds. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

The Youses Orioles had no answer for Nick Grant, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Youses Orioles managed just two hits off of the the Baltimore Redbirds' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out five during his four innings of work.

Vince Rosace was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
