Greg Jakusik hopes every outing could go as well as Monday, as Jakusik pitched seven shutout innings to carry the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts (6-7) to a 3-0 victory over the Herndon Braves (5-7) at Herndon High School.

Jason Baytop Jr. was hot from the plate for the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts. Baytop Jr. went 1-5, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the ninth inning.

Connor Norton ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out five, and allowed two runs.
