Logan Farrar went 1-5, helping the Bethesda Big Train (13-1) to a 5-0 victory over the Gaithersburg Giants (7-7) on Sunday at Criswell Automotive Field.

The Gaithersburg Giants couldn't get anything going as long as Tayler Stiles was pitching. Stiles gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out eight during his five innings of work.

Jorge Flores was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Bethesda Big Train batters and allowing zero runs.

Ryan Selmer couldn't get it done on the hill for the Gaithersburg Giants, taking a loss. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
