John Gora kept the Rockville Express (24-16) off the board during his six innings of work and the Alexandria Aces (23-17) beat the Rockville Express, 10-0.

Gora struck out eight and allowed one walk and four hits.

Six runs in the first three innings helped the Alexandria Aces blow out the Rockville Express. A sacrifice fly by Danny Bermudez during the first inning supplied the early offense for the Alexandria Aces.

J.D. Long led the Alexandria Aces' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third and fourth innings.

Patrick Baker couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Rockville Express, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked two and struck out six.

The Alexandria Aces hammered the Rockville Express pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 13 hits, 10 RBIs and nine runs scored.
