Connor Macalla went 2-4, helping the Gaithersburg Giants (10-10) to a 5-1 victory over the Baltimore Dodgers (5-15) on Monday at Criswell Automotive Field.

The Baltimore Dodgers had no answer for Kyle Colgain, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Baltimore Dodgers managed just one hit off of Colgain, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Brandon Estrain recorded his first win of the year for the Gaithersburg Giants. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Colin Friedman (0-5) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
