The Qu��bec (1-2) beat the Saskatchewan 12-5 in seven innings on Friday at Field one after a seven-run explosion in the fifth inning.

The Qu��bec scored in the fifth on an RBI double by Samy Pare, an RBI single by Lionel Robitaille, an RBI single by Olivier Pilotte, an RBI single by Pilotte, a two-run single by Justin Bellavance, and a two-run home run by Antony Gilbert.

Pare boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Qu��bec.

Pilotte improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Qu��bec. He allowed four runs over five innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered five hits.

Zac Donohue Brown was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
