The British Columbia (0-2) didn't put up much of a fight on Thursday, as the Nova Scotia (1-0) cruised to a blowout 10-3 win in seven innings at Mainland Commons.

The Nova Scotia scored three runs in the sixth on the Nova Scotia scored in the sixth on an RBI single by Evan Comeau and a two-run error.

Colby Turple racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Nova Scotia. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Jared Frew got a hit in each of his two at bats. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Jake Lonar improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Nova Scotia. He allowed two runs over 4 2/3 innings. Lonar struck out none, walked two and gave up six hits.

Kyle Joel (0-1) took the loss for the British Columbia. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked four and struck out nine.
