The Clackamas (39-7) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 4-2 to the Mt. Hood (40-3) on Monday.
While the Clackamas led until the fourth inning, the Mt. Hood worked their way back and took the lead on a three-run home run by Mercedes Green.
Green racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Mt. Hood. He homered in the fourth inning.
Kristen Crawford picked up the win for the Mt. Hood. Crawford pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, seven hits and no walks while striking out five.
Alyson Boytz was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
