Both the Walla Walla (19-23) and the Douglas (25-7) put runners aboard on Friday, but it was the Walla Walla that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 4-3 win at Delta Park.
Brook Simpson was solid at the plate for the Walla Walla. Simpson went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fifth innings.
Jamie Moe got the win for the Walla Walla thanks to seven strikeouts. Moe allowed three earned runs, seven hits and no walks over seven innings.
Tori Belton (16-4) took the loss for the Douglas. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
