The Walla Walla (18-23) pounded the Centralia (26-14) on Friday 11-5 at Delta Park in seven innings.

The Walla Walla scored four runs in the fifth on a groundout by Paige Pontarolo, an RBI double by Brook Simpson, a groundout by Kendyl Hamilton, and an RBI single by Miranda Smith.

Simpson had three extra-base hits for the Walla Walla.

Lauren Fisher racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Centralia. He homered in the second inning.

Jamie Moe got his tenth win for the Walla Walla despite allowing five runs over seven innings. Moe struck out three, walked one and gave up eight hits.

Kalynn Randt ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his sixth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked three and struck out none.

The Walla Walla were sparked by Simpson and Smith, who teamed up for six hits and five RBIs.
