Jesse Houser hopes every outing could go as well as Friday, as Houser struck out eight batters to carry the Walla Walla (27-12) to a 3-1 victory over the Yakima Valley at Elks Memorial .

Seth Wolfe was solid at the plate for the Walla Walla. Wolfe went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the second, fourth, and eighth innings.

Collin Nord (3-6) took the loss for the Yakima Valley (25-18). He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
